The Independent Operational Rules have held hearings in to the latest cases put before them.

Franck Maria of the Catalans Dragons pleaded guilty to a Grade E Head Contact against the Salford Red Devils. Maria received a five match suspension and 30 penalty points.

Hull FC forward Jack Ashworth also pleaded guilty. Ashworth was charged with a Grade E Striking charge during the Hull derby. Ashworth was given a seven match suspension and 40 penalty points.

Loghan Lewis of Salford Red Devils was successful in his challenge against the grading of a Head Contact charge from last Thursday’s game against Catalans Dragons.

The charge was downgraded from D to B, meaning nine penalty points and a one match suspension.

Sinead Peach’s tribunal, following a Grade E charge of Other Contrary Behaviour in the Betfred Women’s Super League fixture between St Helens and York Valkyrie on August 31, was adjourned until September 17 to allow further evidence to be presented.

Ben Reynolds of Featherstone Rovers then pleaded guilty to a Grade E Foul and abusive language to a Match Official charge. He received a four match suspension and 24 penalty points.
